The Greenbrier Bunker
The Greenbrier Bunker is a must-do experience that takes you behind the scenes and walks you through an interesting period in the resorts history. Specifically carved far into the mountain beneath the West Virginia Wing is an emergency Cold War fallout shelter. Once a top secret U.S government relocation for Congress, The Bunker is now open to anyone interested in reliving a legendary piece of The Greenbrier history. It was featured on the Discovery Channel, History Channel, FOX and other top stations. The Greenbrier Bunker Tours provide a unique and in-depth look behind its hidden doors and let you explore an aspect of The Greenbrier that no other resort can claim.
Reservations & Canceling
Reservations are a must have and should cancel at least 24 hours before time of tour. Contemplate booking on the same day as the tour, may not be able to be canceled. A non-cancellation fee of $39 is a fee to those who do not go through with procedure.
The Greenbrier Bunker Pricing
Tours typically take 90 minutes and are available for guest 10 years or older. The Bunker Tour availability is available on the Daily Calendar by selecting the specific dates.
Individual
Adults: $47 per person
Youth (10-18): $24 per person
Pricing includes 6% WV sales taxes & 9.75% Historical Preservation Fund.
Grouping
Before 5pm: $1,202 +$35 gratuity
5-6:30pm: $1,772 +$100 gratuity
6:30-8pm: $1,824 +$150 gratuity
Location
Tours depart from Trellis Lobby near the Lobby Bar. Guest should check in at the Trellis Lobby no later that 15 minutes before tour. To our day time visitors, Please allow plenty of time for parking and arrival at the Trellis.
The Greenbrier Bunker Guidelines
- Maximum tour size of 25 per group
- To clarify, no children under the age of 10 permitted
- Also cameras, electronic equipment or cell phones are not permitted
- No items of concealment: backpacks, tote bags, purses, etc.
- Zero weapons of any kind.
- Of course, they reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone not adhering to the Bunker Tour guidelines. So please be respectful along your tour.
- Last, but not least, don’t forget comfortable shoes. Highly recommended!
